Hummingbirds

My love for hummingbirds bloomed out of a relationship with a little baby Allen’s hummingbird, I called Rufous. Through our bond that lasted for years, I began to notice not only how beautiful these tiniest of birds are, but their unique intelligence, and subjective presence. I want to not only capture their beauty, but the palpable spark of feeling and thinking packed into those remarkable and tiny bodies. I want to convey that their charisma is far larger than their corporeal selves.
